The Coyotes now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Portales for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. Roswell will play a Rams squad coming off a 5-0 league loss to Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Rams record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Lovington moves to 5-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Artesia (Artesia, NM) to play the Bulldogs in a 4A District 4 bout on Thursday, September 26. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Artesia won 10-0 in their recent non-league bout against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
