Oregon High School Soccer - Marist nudges Valley Catholic

In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting Marist Spartans soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Valley Catholic Valiants.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their outing against North Bend (North Bend, OR). The Bulldogs go into the 4A Sky Em outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, North Bend was edged by Thurston (Springfield, OR), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Valiants confront the De La Salle North Catholic Knights (Portland, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD1 Special District 1 outing, on Tuesday, October 1. Valley Catholic will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Knights go into the outing with a 0-4 record after their 5-0 league loss to Oregon Episcopal (Portland, OR).
