St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 5-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, St. Francis advances its record to 3-6 on the campaign. The Spartans host Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Celtics in a Chicago Catholic test on Thursday, September 26. The Celtics come into the test with a record of 6-3. Providence Catholic lost 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Hinsdale South (Darien, IL)

The Mustangs now have a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Horizon Science Academy-Southwest for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 25. St. Rita will clash with a Huskies team coming off a 7-5 league loss to Farragut (Chicago, IL). The Huskies record now stands at 1-7.
