The Nixa Eagles triumphed over the host Waynesville Tigers softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) in a Class 4 District 11 challenge, on Thursday, September 26. Nixa will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a 17-5 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Camdenton (Camdenton, MO).

The Tigers (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Rolla (Rolla, MO). The Bulldogs enter the non-league challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Rolla overcame West Plains (West Plains, MO), 16-1, in a non-league challenge.
