In Tuesday's non-league match, the host North Bend Central Tigers softball team scored a tight 7-0 win over the Schuyler Warriors.
The Tigers (4-12) will now prepare for their match against Aquinas (David City, NE). The Monarchs come into the non-league match with a 12-12 record. In their last match, Aquinas nipped Highway 91 (Leigh, NE), 10-2, in a league match.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, October 1. Schuyler will attempt to better on its 0-9 season record.
