Washington, DC High School Volleyball - Banneker tips Roosevelt

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) and the visiting Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC), observed Banneker's volleyball team hold off Roosevelt by a count of 2-1.
The Bulldogs (5-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bell (Washington, DC). The Griffins enter the DCIAA contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Bell got by E.L. Haynes (Washington, DC), 3-2, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Roughriders battle the MacArthur Mammoths (Washington, DC) in a DCIAA contest, on Tuesday, October 8. Roosevelt will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record.
