In Tuesday's league challenge, the host Dryden Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 victory over the Deckerville Eagles.

The Cardinals (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Peck (Peck, MI). The Pirates enter the North Central Thumb challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Peck got by Kingston (Kingston, MI), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles meet the Mayville Wildcats (Mayville, MI) in a North Central Thumb challenge, on Wednesday, September 25. Deckerville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 2-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to North Huron (Kinde, MI).
