Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Westwood Patriots (Ishpeming, MI), 3-2 in a league test.

With the win, Gwinn improves its record to 1-10 on the season. The Modeltowners travel to Negaunee (Negaunee, MI) to face the Miners in a Mid-Peninsula test on Thursday, September 26. The Miners go into the test with a record of 10-3. Negaunee won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Houghton (Houghton, MI)

The Patriots now own a 0-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gladstone for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28.
