The Imlay City Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Richmond Blue Devils to 1 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.

The Spartans now possess a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Armada for a Blue Water Area outing on Tuesday, October 1. Imlay City will play a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 league win over Algonac (Algonac, MI). The Tigers record now stands at 3-21.

With the loss, Richmond drops to 22-7 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Notre Dame Prep (Pontiac, MI) to play the Fighting Irish in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. The Fighting Irish come into the outing with a record of 22-15. Notre Dame Prep won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Regina (Warren, MI)
