Slippery Rock Rockets (Slippery Rock, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Oil City Oilers (Oil City, PA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Slippery Rock improves its record to 9-5 on the season. The Rockets host Hickory (Hermitage, PA) to face the Hornets in a District 10 Region 3 test on Wednesday, September 25. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 4-5. Hickory lost 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Titusville (Titusville, PA)

The Oilers now own a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercer for a District 10 Region 3 test on Wednesday, September 25. Oil City will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Sharpsville (Sharpsville, PA). The Mustangs record now stands at 7-2.
