Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Port Allen Pelicans (Port Allen, LA) and the host Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA), observed Port Allen's volleyball team hold off Slaughter Community Charter by a tally of 3-2.

The Pelicans (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Zachary got by North Iberville (Rosedale, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 26. Slaughter Community Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record. The Sharks enter the contest with a 2-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Northeast (Pride, LA).
