Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Loyola Academy Ramblers (Wilmette, IL) and the host Fenwick Friars (Oak Park, IL), saw Loyola Academy's soccer squad hold off Fenwick by a count of 1-0.

The Ramblers (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders come into the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Brother Rice was edged by St. Laurence (Burbank, IL), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Friars confront the Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 27. Fenwick will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bison enter the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Elmwood Park (Elmwood Park, IL).
