In Wednesday's non-league outing, the host Burke Bengals soccer squad scored a tight 1-0 victory over the Spencerville Adventist Academy Hornets.
The Bengals (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Brookewood (Kensington, MD). The go into the non-league outing with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Hornets play the Field Falcons (Washington, DC) in a PVAC test, on Thursday, October 9. Spencerville Adventist Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
