The Shamokin Area Indians soccer team (Coal Township, PA), was overwhelmed 8-0 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Selinsgrove Seals (Selinsgrove, PA)

The Seals (9-1) will now prepare for their battle against Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Braves enter the PIAA District IV-AAA battle with a 11-0 record.

Next up, the Indians battle the Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) in a PIAA District IV-AA battle, on Thursday, September 25. Shamokin Area will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA).
