The Wootton Patriots soccer team (Rockville, MD), was tipped 1-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD)
The Wildcats (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Barons enter the Class 4A West II battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Bethesda-Chevy Chase tipped Churchill (Potomac, MD), 2-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Wootton will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 2-1 league loss to Whitman (Bethesda, MD).
