Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Randolph-Henry Statesmen (Charlotte Court House, VA), 28-0 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Lunenburg Central improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Chargers travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, VA) to play the Dukes in a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 8. The Dukes go into the battle with a record of 0-2.
The Statesmen now have a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Buckingham for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 1. Randolph-Henry will play a Knights squad coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Prince Edward County (Farmville, VA). The Knights record now stands at 0-5.
