In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, October 1. Madison County will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Blue Streaks enter the game with a 0-4 record after their 48-0 non-league loss to East Rockingham (Elkton, VA).

The Mustangs (1-3) will now prepare for their outing against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets come into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Orange County was overwhelmed by Goochland (Goochland, VA), 26-0, in a non-league outing.
