Fans at Wednesday's non-league contest between the Olympia Bears (Olympia, WA) and the host South Kitsap Wolves (Port Orchard, WA), observed Olympia's volleyball team hold off South Kitsap by a count of 2-1.

The Bears (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Yelm (Yelm, WA). The Tornados enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Yelm was edged by Graham-Kapowsin (Graham, WA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

The Wolves now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 30. South Kitsap will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Rogers (Puyallup, WA). The Bison record now stands at 5-1.
