Sturgis Trojans (Sturgis, MI) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the visiting Hackett Catholic Prep Fighting Irish (Kalamazoo, MI), 4-1 in a non-league outing.

The Trojans (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Plainwell (Plainwell, MI). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Plainwell Edwardsburg (Edwardsburg, MI), 2-2, in a league outing.

Next up, the Fighting Irish confront the Kalamazoo Christian Comets (Kalamazoo, MI) in a SAC outing, on Monday, September 29. Hackett Catholic Prep will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
