Holyoke Purple Knights (Holyoke, MA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks (Hadley, MA), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Holyoke moves its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Purple Knights travel to Southwick Regional (Southwick, MA) to meet the Rams in a non-league test on Friday, September 26. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-2.

The Golden Hawks now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Franklin County Tech for a non-league test on Friday, October 3.
