The Pleasant Spartans smashed the host Loudonville Redbirds soccer team by a tally of 5-1 in Wednesday's non-league game.

The Spartans now hold a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Crestview for a non-league bout on Monday, September 29. Pleasant will play a Cougars squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Open Door Christian (Elyria, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 4-8.

With the loss, Loudonville moves to 2-8 on the year. The Redbirds travel to Northwestern (West Salem, OH) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 25. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Northwestern won 7-0 in their recent league bout against Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH)
