Fans at Wednesday's league battle between the West Chargers (Topeka, KS) and the host Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS), saw West's soccer squad knock off Piper by a count of 2-0.

The Chargers (6-1) will now prepare for their battle against Highland Park (Topeka, KS). The Scots enter the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.

The Pirates now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blue Valley Northwest for a non-league match on Saturday, September 27. Piper will meet a Huskies team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Marquette (Chesterfield, MO). The Huskies record now stands at 2-4.
