Nebraska High School Softball - Lincoln Northwest bested by Bennington

The Bennington Badgers triumphed over the visiting Lincoln Northwest Falcons softball squad by a count of 8-0 in Wednesday's league challenge.

Coming up next, the Badgers confront the Norris Titans (Firth, NE) in a B District 5 battle, on Thursday, September 25. Bennington will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 15-8 record after their 2-1 league loss to Hastings (Hastings, NE).

With the loss, Lincoln Northwest moves to 2-18 on the season. The Falcons travel to Standing Bear (Lincoln, NE) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 25. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Standing Bear lost 5-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Pius X (Lincoln, NE)
