The Augusta Panthers volleyball team (Augusta, KY), was tipped 2-1 in Wednesday's non-league contest with the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY)

The Bluejackets (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pendleton County (Falmouth, KY). The Wildcats enter the District 38 contest with a 4-20 record.

Next, the Panthers face the Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 27. Augusta will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Pirates go into the test with a 10-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Menifee County (Frenchburg, KY).
