California High School Volleyball - Hawthorne overwhelmed by Inglewood

September 24, 2025: Hawthorne, CA 90250

Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) followers left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Inglewood advances its record to 8-7 on the season. The Sentinels host Centennial (Compton, CA) to face the Apaches in a Ocean outing on Wednesday, October 1. The Apaches come into the outing with a record of 0-4. Centennial lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Lawndale (Lawndale, CA)

With the loss, Hawthorne drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Cougars host Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Friday, September 26. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 13-12. Wiseburn- Da Vinci won 3-0 in their recent league game against Peninsula (Rolling Hills Estates, CA)
