West Virginia High School Volleyball - Madonna over Notre Dame

In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Madonna Blue Dons volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

The Blue Dons (15-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Clay-Battelle (Blacksville, WV). The Cee-Bees go into the Mason-Dixon test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Clay-Battelle achieved victory over Valley (Pine Grove, WV), 3-0, in a league test.

The Fighting Irish now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a Mason-Dixon test on Wednesday, September 24. Notre Dame will face a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Northern Garrett (Accident, MD). The Warriors record now stands at 4-9.
