In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering Phoenix volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Memphis Central Warriors.
The Phoenix (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Memphis Rise Academy (Memphis, TN). The go into the A District 14 game with a 3-12 record. In their last game, Memphis Rise Academy went down by Manassas (Memphis, TN), 3-1, in a league game.
The Warriors (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Whitehaven (Memphis, TN). The Tigers go into the AAA District 16 game with a 5-5 record. In their last game, Whitehaven gained a win over Overton (Memphis, TN), 3-0, in a league game.
