Bellmont Braves (Decatur, IN) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN), 3-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Braves face the Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Bellmont will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Patriots enter the challenge with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Woodlan (Woodburn, IN).

The Barons now have a 4-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Westview for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26. DeKalb will face a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 league win over Angola (Angola, IN). The Warriors record now stands at 11-3.
