In Monday's non-league battle, the host Kentwood Conquerors soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Wenatchee Panthers.
The Conquerors (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Auburn Mountainview (Auburn, WA). The Lions come into the 3A/4A N. Puget Sound (Olympic) battle with a 1-4 record. In their last battle, Auburn Mountainview was nudged by Decatur (Federal Way, WA), 1-0, in a league battle.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Moses Lake (Moses Lake, WA). The Mavericks come into the 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle with a 4-4 record. In their last battle, Moses Lake nudged Davis (Yakima, WA), 2-0, in a league battle.
