Midland Trail Patriots (Hico, WV) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV), 5-1 in a non-league contest.
Next, the Patriots face the Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, September 27. Midland Trail will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Eagles enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Tyler (Sistersville, WV).
The Panthers now have a 1-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 26. PikeView will face a Flying Eagles team coming off a 2-0 league win over Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV). The Flying Eagles record now stands at 4-8.
