Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Lawrence Central Bears (Indianapolis, IN), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Marauders confront the Ben Davis Giants (Indianapolis, IN) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Mt. Vernon will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Giants enter the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Brownsburg (Brownsburg, IN).
The Bears now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Indianapolis Shortridge for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 26.
