The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC) and the visiting Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC), saw Franklin's volleyball squad beat Highlands by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Franklin upgrades its record to 14-1 on the year. The Panthers host Pisgah (Canton, NC) to play the Bears in a bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 12-3. Pisgah lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Polk County (Columbus, NC)

The Highlanders now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Smoky Mountain for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 27. Highlands will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to West Henderson (Hendersonville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-10.
