In Monday's league outing, the host Boonville Pirates softball team scored a nice 12-4 triumph over the Marshall Owls.
With the triumph, Boonville moves its record to 6-12 on the year. The Pirates travel to Wright City (Wright City, MO) to play the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 26. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 5-9. Wright City won 18-4 in their recent non-league contest against Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO)
In their next game, the Owls play the Smith-Cotton Tigers (Sedalia, MO) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 28. Marshall will attempt to move on its 2-14 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 13-10 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to California (California, MO).
