Nebraska High School Softball - Millard South topped by Elkhorn South

The Elkhorn South Storm softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Millard South Patriots to 1 in the Storm league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Elkhorn South moves its record to 14-10 on the year. The Storm host Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE) to encounter the Chieftains in a A District test on Thursday, September 28. The Chieftains come into the test with a record of 13-14. Bellevue East lost 1-0 in their recent league test against Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE)
The Patriots (9-14) will now prepare for their test against Burke (Omaha, NE). The Bulldogs come into the A District test with a 6-21 record. In their last test, Burke overcame South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE), 18-5, in a non-league test.
