Colorado High School Softball - Mead bounces Poudre

The Mead Mavericks routed the visiting Poudre Impalas softball squad by a count of 15-5 in Monday's non-league battle.

The Mavericks (10-8) will now prepare for their battle against Greeley Central (Greeley, CO). The Wildcats go into the 4A NCAA battle with a 5-13 record.

The Impalas now sport a 4-13 record. They play next when they host Fossil Ridge for a 5A/4A Front Range battle on Tuesday, September 26. Poudre will meet a Sabercats squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO). The Sabercats record now stands at 11-5.
