With the win, Nooksack Valley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Pioneers host Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA) to play the Lyncs in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Wednesday, September 27. The Lyncs go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Lynden Christian won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Mt. Baker (Deming, WA)

The Borderites now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Sedro-Woolley for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest bout on Thursday, September 28. Blaine will play a Cubs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to LaConner (LaConner, WA). The Cubs record now stands at 0-7.
