Ohio High School Volleyball - Minford over Clay

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Minford Falcons (Minford, OH) and the host Clay Panthers (Portsmouth, OH), saw Minford's volleyball squad beat Clay by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Minford upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Falcons travel to Waverly (Waverly, OH) to play the Tigers in a Southern Ohio II bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-11. Waverly lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Huntington (Chillicothe, OH)

The Panthers now own a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Western for a Southern Ohio I bout on Tuesday, September 26. Clay will play a Indians squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Paint Valley (Bainbridge, OH). The Indians record now stands at 8-5.
