The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle (Albuquerque, NM) and the host Corona/Vaughn (Corona, NM), saw Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy's volleyball squad beat Corona/Vaughn by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Eagle host Quemado (Quemado, NM) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 30. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-2.

The now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Carrizozo for a 1A District 3 bout on Monday, October 2. Corona/Vaughn will play a Grizzlies squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Animas (Animas, NM). The Grizzlies record now stands at 2-11.
