With the win, Cottonwood Classical Prep upgrades its record to 10-3 on the year. The Coyotes host Grants (Grants, NM) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Grants won 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Moriarty (Moriarty, NM)

The Panthers now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Del Norte for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 26. Menaul will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Knights record now stands at 3-4.
