The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Souhegan Sabers (Amherst, NH) and the visiting Laconia Sachems (Laconia, NH), saw Souhegan's volleyball squad beat Laconia by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Souhegan upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The Sabers travel to Winnisquam (Tilton, NH) to play the Bears in a Division II bout on Saturday, September 30. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 2-5.

The Sachems now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host ConVal for a Division II bout on Wednesday, September 27. Laconia will play a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, NH). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
