The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Lourdes Eagles (Rochester, MN) and the host St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN), saw Lourdes's volleyball squad beat St. Charles by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lourdes upgrades its record to 3-9 on the year. The Eagles travel to Byron (Byron, MN) to play the Bears in a Hiawatha Valley bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Bears go into the test with a record of 11-2. Byron won 3-0 in their recent league test against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN)

The Fighting Saints (0-16) will now prepare for their test against Pine Island (Pine Island, MN). The Panthers enter the non-league test with a 12-5 record. In their last test, Pine Island was knocked off by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 3-1, in a league test.
