In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Towanda Black Knights volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Mountain View Eagles.

The Black Knights now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Troy for a PIAA District IV test on Thursday, September 28. Towanda will confront a Trojans team coming off a 3-0 league win over Athens (Athens, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-4.

The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Dunmore (Dunmore, PA). The Bucks enter the Lackawanna test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Dunmore held off Forest City (Forest City, PA), 3-0, in a league test.
