The Tharptown Wildcats topped the visiting Phillips Bears volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Monday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 6-24 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Colbert County for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. Tharptown will confront a Indians team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Indians record now stands at 3-12.

The Bears (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL). The Panthers enter the 1A Area 14 test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Hackleburg was knocked off by Sulligent (Sulligent, AL), 2-0, in a non-league test.
