The crowd at Wednesday's non-league contest between the DeKalb Barons (Waterloo, IN) and the host NorthWood Panthers (Nappanee, IN), witnessed DeKalb's flag football squad wallop NorthWood by a tally of 69-33.

The Barons (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against New Haven (New Haven, IN). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, New Haven was trounced by East Noble (Kendallville, IN), 25-12, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Panthers battle the Wawasee Warriors (Syracuse, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. NorthWood will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 42-22 non-league loss to Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN).
