The Steele Canyon Cougars got by the host San Dieguito Academy Mustangs flag football team by a score of 12-7 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars play the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a challenge, on Monday, September 30. Steele Canyon will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record.

The Mustangs (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, CA). The Lancers go into the challenge with a 4-0 record. In their last challenge, Carlsbad nipped Poway (Poway, CA), 13-12, in a league challenge.
