The Cary Christian Knights felled the visiting Halifax Academy Vikings football team by a score of 36-8 in Wednesday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights face the Rocky Mount Academy Eagles (Rocky Mount, NC) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Cary Christian will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 40-20 league loss to Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC).

The Vikings (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC). The Eagles go into the challenge with a 4-0 record.
