With the defeat, William Monroe drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Dragons host Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to meet the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 2. The Knights come into the test with a record of 4-0. Turner Ashby won 48-6 in their recent non-league test against Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA)
