The Hawks (9-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Grassfield beat Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Nansemond River Warriors (Suffolk, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, October 2. Great Bridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 league loss to Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
