Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Dixie Greyhounds (New Lebanon, OH) and the visiting Valley View Spartans (Germantown, OH), saw Dixie's soccer squad knock off Valley View by a count of 4-1.

The Greyhounds (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against Newton Local (Pleasant Hill, OH). The Indians enter the Western Ohio Athletic battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Newton Local tipped Franklin Monroe (Pitsburg, OH), 9-4, in a league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Brookville Blue Devils (Brookville, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Buckeye battle, on Thursday, October 3. Valley View will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
