The Timnath Cubs soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Roosevelt Roughriders to 1 in the Cubs league victory on Wednesday.
The Cubs now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Wellington for a 4A/3A Longs Peak bout on Tuesday, October 1. Timnath will play a Eagles squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to DSST: Cedar (Denver, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 1-6.
With the loss, Roosevelt moves to 2-5 on the year. The Roughriders host Northridge (Greeley, CO) to play the Grizzlies in a 4A/3A Longs Peak bout on Thursday, October 3. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 5-3.
